Tip #7: find a family-friendly workplace

The best workplaces recognise that their employees are real people with real needs—they are ‘humans’, not just ‘human resources’.

We often hear that businesses see employees as their biggest asset, but sometimes this is merely lip service instead of reality.

If you need to strike a healthier work-life balance, this needs by reviewing the  culture in your workplace. If your job isn’t cooperating, it may be time to seek out a better workplace culture. Search for a job that promotes respect for work-life balance, one with flexible hours, or one with that encourages you to take your holiday time and other leave entitlement. Prior to interviews check out their culture, social responsibility policies or even ask them this in your interview.
